From September 1 to 24, we are taking part in the “Lust an Zukunft” campaign of dm. Through this initiative, dm aims to strengthen our communities, support civic engagement, encourage others to get involved, and inspire people to look to the future with confidence.
For us, this campaign means the very real opportunity to receive €600 in support of our mission to help defeat blood cancer. With this funding, we could further expand our awareness and donor registration activities and invest in new flyers, posters, and banners. This would help us reach even more people, raise awareness of the life-saving importance of stem cell donation, and hopefully encourage more potential lifesavers to register as stem cell donors.

A cure for everyone with blood cancer – that sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? To move closer to this goal, we need lifesavers like you! Campus Heroes – We Fight Blood Cancer has made it its mission to inform students at the University of Greifswald about stem cell donation and to offer on-site registration.
We are an initiative that brings together students from a wide range of disciplines, united by the shared goal of making a difference for people with blood cancer. We offer a simple way to register as a stem cell donor through a cheek swab, which we provide during our own cafeteria events, at university and student activities, as well as in schools. In addition, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of stem cell donation through various formats such as lectures, social media campaigns, and parties.
