To wrap up a highly successful month of May, we were invited to set up a registration booth at the Vorpommern Vandals’ football game against the Potsdam Royals II. Alongside a successful day of sports—where the Vandals celebrated a well-deserved victory—there were also plenty of reasons to celebrate off the field.
A total of 330 spectators visited the stadium and took the opportunity to learn about stem cell donation. We were particularly delighted to record numerous new registrations of potential stem cell donors at our booth. Every single registration means an additional chance for patients worldwide who rely on a life-saving stem cell donation.
We were absolutely thrilled that not only did the mascot Olaf hang out at our booth, but several players themselves signed up as potential stem cell donors.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and the many visitors who stopped by our booth and supported our work. A big thank you goes out to the entire Vorpommern Vandals team for their fantastic support and help in making this campaign happen! We are already looking forward to our next joint projects!
